Pastor Amadeus (Voyorite)

 

 

Pastor Amadeus Voyorite comes from the remote village of Atra Hapa in the Lufa district of the Eastern Highlands, Papua New Guinea. His ministry journey began at Mountain View College in Bukidnon, Philippines, where he earned his AB Theology degree in 2017. Following his graduation, Pastor Amadeus dedicated himself to volunteer roles at Philippines Countryville College in Maramag, Bukidnon, from 2017 to 2018. There, he served as a teacher, college instructor, and chaplain, fostering spiritual growth and guiding students, which concluded his seven-year stay in the Philippines. 

Upon returning to Papua New Guinea, he became the pastor at the Seventh-day Adventist Church at Bihute Correctional Institution in Goroka, Eastern Highlands, under the Eastern Highlands Simbu Mission. His work in challenging environments has been a defining feature of his ministry. 

Currently, Pastor Amadeus is pursuing a Master of Divinity (MDiv) at Andrews University in Michigan, USA, with a focus on Chaplaincy and Urban Ministry. He resides in Swan River, Manitoba, Canada, where he oversees the district churches of Dauphin, Winnipegosis, and Swan River. Pastor Amadeus is single and remains dedicated to his studies, pastoral responsibilities, and the spiritual development of the communities he serves.

Our former pastor is completing his studies at Andrews University in Michigan.  When he completes his studies he will be assigned a church in the Manitoba Saskatchewan Conference. 

Pastor Adams Babida

 

Adams Babida is a native of the Philippine Islands, Adams was raised there until he and his family immigrated to Ontario, Canada in 2006. Soon after his arrival, Adams studied at Kingsway College then took his Bachelors Degree in Religious Studies at Canadian University College (Burman University) in Lacombe, Alberta in 2013.

His previous experiences includes being the Assistant Dean for the boys at Kingsway College from 2014-2017 and the Archives Specialist for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada in Oshawa, Ontario from 2017-2019. 

Married to Jeflyn Rastrollo, his high-school classmate at Adventist University of the Philippines, Silang, Cavite, Philippines. They have one daughter, Rhea and were assigned to the Parkland District serving Dauphin, Winnipegosis & Swan River churches from 2019 to 2023.  He then returned to Andrews University to continue his studies.
